Freeze lifecycle
A freeze travels from a member’s request, through the owner’s approval, to an extended end date.

Member requests a freeze
The member picks a window and submits — see Freezing your membership.
Request goes pending
It waits in the owner’s freeze approvals and Today list.
Owner approves
Approval extends the member’s end date by the frozen days.
The freeze window ends
Because the end date was already pushed back by the frozen days, the member does not lose any paid time.
Result
The member’s membership is paused fairly, with the lost days added back to the end date.
